What Does OHSC Do?

The Oak Hills Soccer Club (OHSC) invites all girls and boys K-8th grade living within the school district boundaries of Findley, Oak Hills, and Jacob Wismer Elementary Schools to participate in this year's fall recreational youth soccer season. The Oak Hills Soccer Club is a member of the Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League and the Oregon Youth Soccer Association.

What Programs Does OHSC Offer?
Kick & Chase This introductory program is for kindergarten and first grade girls and boys playing together on co-ed teams. The teams practice once a week and a half-hour practice before each game on Saturday beginning in August.  Teams play against other OHSC teams on seven consecutive Saturday afternoons (either 1:30 or 4:00 pm) beginning the first Saturday after
Labor Day in September.
All games are played on the Oak Hills Rec Center fields on NW 153rd Avenue.
Recreational League Open to children age 7 years (by Sept. 1st) through 13 years, teams are formed by separate age and gender in Under 8 years (U-8) through Under 14 years (U-14). Teams practice twice a week beginning in August. 8 to 10 games are played during the season on Saturday mornings (with a few games being played mid-week), beginning the first Saturday in September after Labor Day. Games are played against other soccer clubs in the Beaverton area.
Soccer Skills Camps UK International will again run four skills clinics open to all
Kick & Chase and Recreational League players (U-6 through U-14). There will be an AM & PM camp.
  • The AM camp will run from 9:00am - Noon.
  • The PM camp will run from 5:30pm - 8:30pm.

  • High School Recreational
    Co-ed League
    Our governing organization, the Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League (THJSL), operates a high-school-age co-ed recreational league for girls and boys. Registration forms may be obtained at the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District offices at 15707 SW Walker Road, Beaverton. Volunteers are need to help organized that league.


    How Do I Register?

    On the Web: OHSC uses the services of Preenroll.com to handle registration for our programs. This is our preferred method of registration, and results in a savings for you.
    By Mail: Mail separate registration form for each player, along with
    payment to the Lead Registrar.


    What Help Is There For Coaches?
    OHSC has coaches clinics to help coaches interact well with the kids, and is looking into other programs as they become available.
    Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) maintains a library of video tapes and books to assist coaches at all levels. They will support you in locating materials and can recommend appropriate materials for your age group.All coaches should check out the Soccer Online link under "Links" at the top.


    What Programs Doesn't OHSC Offer
    Classic Soccer Classic is another name for competitive or select soccer. The Oak Hills Soccer Club does not offer a classic program.
    Premier Soccer This is the highest level of competition available. The Oak Hills Soccer Club does not offer a premier program.
